Look, I have a problem with learning chess. I want to improve my chess by using chessbase but

1.I have to pay for it (Which is totally unfair, because I'm from the Philippines, and

2. $100 is like P45000 here.

I have MCO-15, Chess puzzles, but NO chess software.

Where can I get FREE chess software, which is good software (like CHESSBASE)?

I really need it; oh, and I have a chess tournament which is coming really fast. So, please help me!

I think SCID is really good, you can do a lot of analysis of your games and work with databases of games. Never tried chessdb, it kind of looks the same.

As a free engine I'd recommend stockfish, it's very strong, you can use this in SCID and other chess software.

SCID or ChessDB + Stockfish + Houdini are OK alternatives to chessbase.
