There was a game I played once that was theoretically perfect. I set up an early mating attack after 1. e4! for which there was no defense. Here it is:
Which game do you consider as your best game? [SERIOUS REPLIES ONLY]
Or this one, where I beat my opponent by discovering an early queen sacrifice. Now they call this the "legal trap" because my Dad is a lawyer. It may not be as perfect, since there opportunities for black to avoid it, but queen sacs are very fun!
10 or 12 years ago I was really into 1 b4, and found a really hectic line. I spent hours on my pc looking for lines. A few times in league games opponents fell into my prep, and I had this, plus a few similar. I'm still pleased with it, but a few weeks ago on here I forgot the move order and lost badly against Savage :)
What's your best game, MSC?
Lots of opening preparation here, I think, until move 22. I sacrificed many pieces to come to a won endgame (well, not so obvious). I quite struggled to win it, but I still think it's one of my best games so far.

@MSC157: In the first simul that I played with you we had an interesting Najdorf and when I entered the second simul I had the idea to play it again. However, I had just played a game in the Pin Variation and was a little bit worried if that was a problem for the open Sicilian. Therefor did I try to play that against you.
In the pin variation I had lost a pawn after the opening was over. In the end game I decided to play actively and sac another pawn. The result was that his two pawns advantage became two isolated pawns at the a file. After that he had to fight for a draw in a rook ending and he was two pawns up. He managed.
Hardly my best game, but one of my first official ones, almost fourty years ago. Some mistakes made, but the game was fun!
(the game comments aren't mine, but I'm a bit lazy to replace them with my own)
This game was from almost 2 years ago, but I still think it's one of my best games. :)
Also, because I have a video on chesskid.com of it that you probably cant watch because you probably dont have a membership :/
Not a particularly well-played game, but a very tense and exciting one; in which White's last-ditch counter-attack barely fails to break through and mate me.
This was my best game on chess.com online chess, I liked it because I was able to get a good position against a good player, even when I was a bit scared of being smashed after I saw Ng3:
Wow, it's difficult to pick just one! I guess the game where I beat my first master in correspondence is a strong contender, so I'll post that.
It was 1|0 bullet, but I feel like it was my best game in my life. I agree there was lots of intuition, but still...

This is the first time that I won a 5 minute game. I got a checkmate.
hard to pick! ah i have one, although MSC157 will not fondly remember it.
i don't quite remember the ratings but i worked really hard to win this game. It is only fair to note that i lost 2 games before this and two after though i did win a 60 min standard game. (it was late for him i believe)
so we have 4-2=0 for him.
I mean the game you've played. It can be either OTB or Online chess game. Name reasons why is it you best one - because of tactical shots or perhaps due to its aesthetics...
EDIT: "Serious tab" - do not post opening traps, widely know, unless you played it against GM.
