Which is the ELO's on this site is most representative?
Blitz
A 1 hour game online is the most similar to a 1 hour game in an OTB tournament.
But you're not asking about pace, you're asking about ratings, and ratings are relative to the pool of players. If most beginners play _____ time control, for example, then it will be easier to get higher ratings there. It also depends on where the website starts new players (although since chess.com uses Glicko that's not much of an issue).
Anyway, it just so happens that chess.com blitz ratings are the closest to ratings like FIDE and USCF even though the pace is obviously much faster.
Having said that, some people are much better than the average (considering their chess knowledge) at speed games. Some are much worse. So if you want to know what your OTB rating would be, the best thing is to join a local club and play in some tournaments.
Blitz is going to be closest to your FIDE rating.
I always assumed it would be daily... Maybe I need to play more blitz.
Blitz is not good practice for OTB chess, because the pace is so dissimilar.
As I said it just so happens that chess.com blitz is closest.
Remember, ratings aren't an absolute measure like distance or time. 2000 FIDE is not the same as 2000 USCF is not the same as 2000 chess.com or 2000 [insert other chess website].
