Which one do u play e4 or d4 and why?

So Hello every I always wonder that the once who starts with d4 but why? can u tell if u are a d4 starter?
I'm an e4 starter, but I know why some people choose d4. It's more positional.
I'm a 1.Nf3 player ... but I suppose the structures I transpose to are usually d4 openings.
I probably do this because I enjoy small centers (e3+d3) or staggered centers (e3+d4 / d3+e4) ... but I don't enjoy playing with large centers (e4+d4).
I don't enjoy large centers because it gives Black a clear counter-attack (chip away at White's center), and I'd rather Black work harder to figure out a plan.

With white I like e4, d4, c4 or Nf3 for move #1 in that order of preference. I mostly begin with e4. Happy chess, 🙂♟️

E4 because Bobby Fischer played it, I was watching his games when I started playing.
d4 because my win rate OTB is insane with it. complete opposite as black though lol
I like to play king's pawn for more relaxed games and queen's pawn for more aggressive games
