1. King
I chose king because if you don't have the king, you automatically lose
4. The bishop
The bishop is the best piece because color complexes found the basis for the strategy of chess. Whoever has the unopposed bishop has an extra piece for an entire group of squares. Often times, the victory of the stronger player is based on who has better pieces, and most of the time, this is a bishop vs knight, good bishop vs bad bishop, or opposite colored bishops. Most mating attacks involve attack on weakened squares of a color and most positonal threats focus on taking control of weak squares of a certain color.
Of course I'm inclined to say the king or queen is best but my favorite piece is the knight so I'll say #5, knight.
The queen is the best piece in chess, in my opinion. You have more ways to move, that makes checkmates and capturing more easy. Queen can do a lot of things, best piece ever!! 🫠🫠🫠🫠
PS: If not the queen, the rook is the second best piece.
Best is somewhat subjective. Strictly speaking the queen is the best attribute to winning a chess game, however you can't play without a king. There's also personal preference, some people may enjoy playing with knights (or any other piece) for whatever reason.
Depends on the position
