I think gmjoey is a good player. He may not be the best, but he plays very well and is entertaining to watch.

Probably FM Kulinarist (Andrey Kalinichev). After all he has the best blitz rating on Chess.com so I that's hard to refute.

Alot of people judge someone based on stats only. I'm obviously not very good, but I enjoy chess, and I am learning. So I agree with Dale.

If you define "best" in some way that pleases you, rather than as the best having to be the player than defeats other players more often, then "best" can be anyone you like. The stats ARE the results.
Wezmabini, you are the perfect example! 1942 live blitz rating. Your average opponent is 1299! You can argue that stats are a direct way to establish who is best, but then, I can argue that you attained your rating by playing people whos ratings are nowhere near as high as yours. In other words, you play people who are not as good as you to seem better. Now, please do not take this as me saying I am better than you, but, I play people who are right around my level. You do not.
I would like to know your opinion. I think it is Phoenix.
