who is the best chess youtuber?
My top 3 are: Simon Williams (Ginger GM), John Bartholomew, and ChessNetwork. ChessNetwork's Beginner to Master series is what I mostly watch of his content. I watch some of Bartholomew's OTB game analysis. I watch all Ginger GM content as a religion.

PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT!
I recently started watching Ben Finegold's videos and they are extremely funny and informative. Yasser Seirawan is also amazing and has a strangely soothing voice. John Bartholomew is another channel I recently started watching and it's really fantastic.
I actually have to agree with urk's post here - I honestly never had too much of a liking for Kingscrusher's videos. He spends way too much time over-explaining things and going into amazingly long variations without explaining why those variations are good or bad. "Brevity is the soul of wit".
There was another chess channel that I watched a bit and I generally enjoy, which is Bruce Wallace.

Yes, definitely.
Really good suggestions in this thread dudes. I will subscribe to them when I get home from work.
I second this ... great to discover new channels, as I've been a Mato fan but am unfamiliar with most of the other mentions.
Great thread - I just bookmarked it for later reference.
I love videos by IM's Bartholomew and Rensch.
I've only watch one Finegold YouTube video, a 50 minute piece called "Attack!!" It was ok but I felt bad for his audience as Ben, over and over would say things like (paraphrasing) "People likely to play this stupid move - like you..."
Mato is instructive and his voice is so hot! He has an entire series on the endgame. Kingcrusher has good stuff. Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis has very instructive but long videos. Of course, if you are a Diamond Member, we have a lot of great videos on Chess.com. I have transcribed a lot of my favorite vids (you have to hit pause a lot and go back sometimes and it's time-consuming).
Hands down it is Jan Gustafsson when he does his youtube show called Banter Blitz.
