Not sure if he owns the Lambo though... I've picked up somewhere he doesn't have a drivers license. But he has enough money to buy a couple

If that's doesn't discourage aspiring grandmasters I dont know what will. He is the world champion, in several categories, rated number one, and considered by some to be the best ever. And yet has a net worth of only 8 million. It seems to me that the greatest in the world should produce a lot more fame and fortune than that.

Earning $2 million per year isn't enough for you? most people won't make that kind of money in 2 million years! Discouraging... Anyway, it is chess after all. Maybe he should have pursued a soccer career. Cristiano Ronaldo earns about $108 million per year. But then again, how much money does a person need.
