I'm curious about who makes the most money from playing Chess. Is it one of the old, solemn grandmasters or a new, popular star?

I would think that Magnus Carlsen makes the most money.

Magnus. Probably because of endorements.

I would say Magnus due to endorsements, but also due to his rise in chess he has also recieved a modeling contract with G Star, which will bring in a good amount of money too.
