I learned chess from 2 boys at primary school. they were playing it during every break and I was wondering what could be so interesting about that game. after they taught me the basics I was the one claiming the chessboard (we only had one) every break xD

No one really taught me chess but I did have some people show me things that I learned from, the most painful lesson I learned about chess was that most of the concepts of chess are hard to learn because if you do not get them then you won't understand them and therefore learn them for eg. Forking!!! I had forking explained to me several different ways without understanding any explanation until I achieved forking myself and even now with years of usage of forking experience I cannot explain what forking is without sounding mental to myself.....
