Frank Marshall was cool too.
who was the most aggressive chessplayer

Tal for sure, although Morphy also comes on top. Carlsen I feel is more a dynamic player with no real set style.

I think either Korchnoi or Paul Keres. I wouldn't call Tal particularly aggressive. Sure he checkmated his opponents in the middlegame, but that's because they let him. He was playing some of the most boring openings and out maneuvering his opponents into attacks. Korchnoi played gambits/pawn sacrifices and purposeful attacking lies and steered into complicated positions straight out of the opening.
Of course Tal is a legendary attacker, but I wouldn't say that his style was very aggressive. It's like call a sniper "aggressive". Tal is very effective. That does not mean he lashes out as his opponents.
I would probably put Paul Morphy as more aggressive than Tal. DId Tal ever play the king's gambit? If so, I want to see that game.

Once my cat made the uncompromising move 1.h2-h4 on a chessboard. He never made any other moves. Since 100% of his moves were aggressive it is pretty clear that he is the most aggressive chessplayer. No wasting time on moves like a2-a3 or Kh1 like Morphy did.
