Okay, we know that ratings tend to be higher on Lichess, but whose ratings are closer to USCF ratings? When I stopped playing USCF rated games (in 2003?) my rating was 1599. I picked up chess again within the last year and with much study and use of modern electronic resources I am sure I'm a much stronger player today. Yet I am struggling here at 1388. Does anybody else see a discrepancy between USCF ratings and ratings on chess dot com?
Does it really matter? The point of ratings, anywhere, is to find good matches.
Your ratings are still off, it appears to me, because you have scored 9.5 points out of the last 10. That's not exactly struggling.
There is a measure of ratings accuracy here called the Glicko RD. Yours is still pretty high at 70. That means your "real" rating could be significantly higher (or lower).
