Why 3 minutes timer is more easier than 5 minutes timer?

It looks like your blitz rating has increased by more than 100 points since you started playing 3 minute games about a week ago. Your blitz rating was 970 on 1/12 and today it is 1104.

It is hard to tell if the pool of players on 3 minutes chess is overall weaker than the pool for 5 minutes chess on the basis of one player's results.

You should really play all 5 minute games this week to see if your rating drops back to where it was.

3 minute blitz chess is not easier than 5 minute blitz chess. In 3 minute blitz chess, you are not concentrated on systemic approach to the opening. You should try to expand your opening repoartire by learning solid openings that allign with all opening principles rather trying to improve your blitz rating. Also, in 3 minute blitz chess you are not focused on precise calculation or creating an attacking plan rather you are focused on time. You will develop negative habit of playing fast that can harm your chess progress. Also you are not developing endgames skills which are most important skills in chess. My advice to you is not even to play 5 minute blitz. Start doing puzzles (3 per day) and try to get them correct. Play around 5 RAPID games and focus on improvment not on result. And, rating is not important. Massive ratings will come after you start to study grandmaster games or even hire a coach to focus on your game elements.

It's just because of a sudden change of pace. I experienced this as well when I started playing 3min instead of 5min. You will lose again after a few days don't worry.
