Why am I being matched with people rated below me?

I have 30 active daily games, all but one are with lower rated players. This is frustrating because in my last 8 games, I lost only one (after blundering my queen), and yet gained a measly 7 points. How can I fix this lopsided matchmaking?

Quit worrying about the rating.  

Do tell, why should I not worry about the rating? I want to play against people who are better than 300 points below me, but I get the feeling that you have a truly inspiring nugget of wisdom up your sleeve. Share...

go challenge a higher rated person

I just challenged you if you fancy a game.

Easy. Adjust your seek settings. Can choose a minimum and maximum opponent rating

Worse than you at chess? No offense taken. It's actually the point, in fact. I do not have a high rating, and yet chess.com is not finding me a reasonable distribution of opposition. Surely there are enough people better than measly old me to match me with. Serioiusly, though, I'd be fine with a 3 to 1 ratio of lower/higher opponents. But 29-1?\
