why am I not allowed to ask for a rematch?

Perhaps my opponent just doesn't want a rematch.  But, I play quite frequently and it appears that only if I win am I allowed to ask for a rematch.  Sometimes, when I lose, I like my opponent's style and desire to play another game to absorb their methods.  I really never feel like I want to get even.

f your challenge is only accepted after you win, it’s probably the other player trying to get even. When you click the rematch button, it only works if the other player accepts it. Many lower-rated players are scared of losing rating, which is why they avoid rematches. Also, if you send too many challenges, you can get timed out.

You mean you dont see the rematch button or your opponents just dont accept rematches?

i, a chess player with 350 rapid elo would never accept rematches, ever.
