It seems there are many hurdles to overcome just for this match to take place (and I think Kamsky would have a real tough time beating Topalov, let alone Anand).
And yes, he is an American. He may have been born in Siberia, but he's an American nontheless. I can't see him doing it, but jolly good luck to the man.
Now if only we could get a title challenging world class GM from Russia to naturalise to the UK... <sigh>
