Why are chess.com puzzles so frustrating?

Why sometimes it seems like chess.com unfaired me by declaring that my puzzle solution is wrong yet my solution was also correct....😏😔

Can you provide examples? Most likely your solution overlooked something.
There are some problem puzzles, but not very many

it's ridiculous, you'll see that the puzzles where you lose -20 to -30 on, have a very low puzzle number, meaning they were created years ago, with a specific rating, that does not match today's puzzles. this is why you only win +5 for puzzles but lose -20 to -30. The system is BROKEN and has been for years. this is why I am not renewing chess.com membership, they have too many unaddressed bugs in their system and they are making things worse with every iteration of the software. OT: I still can't believe that after a year, Samsung phones cannot start a game with a bot,, as that functionality has been broken since the 2024 October update.

I know! When you get a puzzle right, it gives you something like +10 and when you get it wrong you get-18!

The issue with puzzles here I have is that sometimes you can for example trap a queen, you go for that and you fail because you missed some crazy mate in 7. Or even the other way around. Many puzzles also have fake rating, I've seen 2000+ puzzles being rated as 300 or even 300 puzzle being rated as 2000+. Might not seem as a problem, but when you get a 2500 puzzle and the solution is capturing a hanging queen for free in 1 move, obviously you expect it to be a trap and you don't go for that. And you fail. Total puzzle rush killer

I think the problem that has been happening over the web everywhere in recent years is that there's a ton of cheaters who "solve" every puzzle with engines knowing it is an area of the sites that doesn't get policed and they are free to stroke their pathetic egos pretending to be good at chess - it would be fine for them to live in that little delusion if it didn't hurt anybody but it really does because they will invariably target the hardest categories, bump the puzzle rating way way lower then it should be and you end up with insanely complex studies which barely qualify as puzzles being pushed down into the easy categories.
Coupled with the fact that sites are relying on engines to churn out content and you end up with a lot of really ugly useless positions with multiple solutions and a resultant position which would still require high precision to actually convert the small advantage.
Solution: remove all ratings, hire puzzle setters whose job is to manually set difficulties and prevent bad puzzles from being bumped down into lower difficulty brackets, anything with overly computery solutions involving multiple branching lines are either removed entirely from circulation or placed into the hardest difficulties for players wanting to study
