Why are some peoples accounts gone??

Maybe because their account was deleted.

I think you can request it. Accounts are also deleted if someone's broken the Terms of Service. It used to display a more specific message (i.e. "This account was closed for suspected cheating"), but now it gives the same message for all of them.

2 things.

1/ A member decided to close their own account.

2/ They broke site rules, thus we (staff) closed their account.

Dead people are removed also after registerd letter by a judge or a notary.

They don't get banned if they cuss. People all aound Chess.com cuss everywhere. Just pass it as spam.

But you actually can get banned if you impersonate staff.
