Why are the computer Ratings So Inflated?

Is it good to test something if we can measure it?

I am 1400 blitz, 1600 rapid and I almost have beaten 2560 rated bot on my first attempt as he got forked like a total beginner and lost a pawn and a bishop . After that after a series of top moves he slowly but surely came for my king with parade and put me down. But hey I think the way it works is that lower rated bots simply do 2nd or 3rd best move on occasion, the problem with that is that in certain position there's just 1 correct move to do and if they do 2nd they are likely to lose a piece of even a game
