Amen to that!
Why aren't the forums more serious?

During WW1 a Zeppelin dropped a bomb in Edinburgh's Grassmarket area.
When I mentioned The Germans, it was like fresh air. How come?

see what I mean ?
No, but I want to see your neutronbombs:)
This pretty much sums up why the forums here are immature, and you cant get serious chess discussions.
If you start a serious chess centered topic, like How do I play King's Gambit, you get serious chess centered posts.
If you start a goofy non chess centered topic, like Prepare for the Annanuki from the Comet Elenin, well...
The Annanuki from the comet Elenin is coming? AAAAAAAAAAH!(Runs away, screaming.)
see what I mean ?
No, but I want to see your neutronbombs:)

Thank you, I was beginning to think everyone could only see Kayknight's hilarious posts.

I'm aware that chess is a game. But it's a game of intellect so why does the forum look like YouTube or Facebook? I'm not looking for an answer because I have my own opinions that I bet alot of folk share. It's just something curious, we could be helping build great players and new world wide relationships but instead it's just all amounted to s**t. excuse my latin. Also as a side note would not chess.com share money by refining the rules and guidelines of the forum? At least save server space? All in I love chess.com but the community has a few piles that need cleaning up so that everyone could profit and enjoy the game.
Over the years, I have found that some people are just too stupid. My suggestion? Ignore them. If you find that someone has said something too stupid, or made fun of a serious issue, get away from them and avoid their company (so you do not become like them).
Even more, those cubeheads didn't care about the radar.
