If you want to beat the bot, I would suggest trading queens early. He can fall apart in the endgame so trade pieces early, queens especially, and survive until he crumbles in the end game.

Nelson is extremely aggressive, I reccomend playing it safe and trading queens early. Bots always fall apart when they dont have a queen.
Trade queens early 
i always trade as early as possible but then somehow he gets this big advantage

It took quite a while for me to find an opening setup that held off his highly offensive queen. However, once you take it, even in trade, he becomes much more manageable. I feel like Nelson is the first real skill check in the bots, at least for me. He doesn't punish every single mistake, but will definitely not allow you to make more than a couple without hurting you for it.

I agree with the early queen trade idea. It definitely helped me and he became much more manageable in the later game.
