bro problem is that i lose to noobs coz i play worse than them
Why chess gives you depression

"(...) towards chess, we felt an utter disgust and loathing, it was nothing but an abomination, polluting the clean environment."
(modified a quote by Charles Lightoller)

Today I played more blitz and went down to 2413 from 2434
Last 7 days I lost 35 points, even though the 5 days before today and yesterday I was gaining rating
Chess sometimes feels like nonsense

I am in wretched spirits after every blunder. I believe that chess is not as the average people imagine it, with a handshake and smiles; it is very serious, very grim.

But losing to noobs and dummies of 2300 and 2200 and 2100 for two days and 15 games straight
Embrace the losses, instead of getting upset about them. Those losses exist for a reason: they're there to show you where your weaknesses are, so you can identify them and scrub them away.
Think of them like blips on a radar screen - they're helping you find your targets ... weaknesses in your play that you can seek and destroy.

Guys the thing is that u are playing a game in which u will lose 200 elo if u lose
But then ur oppenent is a cheater😔🥹

Actually me a 700 elo player went into 500 elo(exact elo)
Then I finally started winning and I was in 596 elo
But I again lost 3 games. I tried,tried
I thought that I will never get to my goal and made a promise that if I don't win and get to 600 elo today I will close my account
Luckily that promise worked !!!
And now I am still working to get to 700 elo
And I am proud to say that I learnt from my mistakes

I can confirm that chess has given me depression
I stopped playing for about 4 months, and then my rating went from 900 to 400. I'm gonna go play BTD6😭
I usually don't otb, also know that I only played 3 tournaments blitz and don't have FIDE elo yet lol
when I play on laptop yeah, many times, but then I rebuild myself and gain the elo back and more... I remember once I lost 50+ bullet points, then in 2 days I gained 100+
That's normal if you gain elon after a good tilt usually your getting better
