Some of the opening lines people repeatedly play to get cheap wins are aggravating as well.. there is a lot of trolling.
Just really ruins the game and the experience.

When it comes to blitz and bullet, winning on time is just as valid as checkmating.
Perhaps you might want to consider more traditional-like time controls. You will find yourself in many more games where the win is earned through other means.
BTW, chess is very respected. I think the issue is that many blitz players don't actually respect or understand chess. They just like to push pieces around the board.
There's no honor in the game.
I've played over 100 opponents who run around the board in 1 min games if they're losing, and believe they've legitmately won if they win on time. They take every win to their name.. if they're up one piece they feel they've won the game.. even if you win on time, but if your up every piece on the board and they run around and win they beat you.. or get one cheapo capture that ruins your attack.
1. According to you, only blitz & bullet
2. If you are in such hardship, try longer time controls
3. The "cheapos" and "winning on time" are just as valid as checkmating, as per the nature of the game.
They take their interest who play Chess on their own.Me saying about Viswanath Anand,Indian GM and my fav vetran player ,,I cant understand what he plays and how he moves .What about the general people can understand. It is not like football or Cricket those the common people understand easily. and take its excitement....AND what is chess ..?? As per me Chess is a wonderful game and very very tactical game evr...thanks erybddy...
Yes, you are correct; chess is not a commoners game.
Why play 1 min bullets if you dont want to consider time control as "winning factor" ?
I dont like the bullet game style too, but instead compalining that opponent should play bullet differently, i play longer time controlls.
Its like asking for a cake and then complain that you got a cake. That's what you asked for!!!
Have a nice day and be carefull of your whishes. Sometimes happens that you get exacly what you ask.
When I play if I'm losing I still play normally and try to win with the pieces I have. I don't try to be cheap.
If I'm winning on time but losing only a few games did I make fast moves just to win, but only in return for 10 games I lost that way.. and if I do it I'm at least a few seconds ahead on the clock anyway.
When I'm winning a lot of opponents play fairly and then a lot have tactics set up for time wasting and blockading, and I feel like I have to play 2 games in a row.. one for the initial breakdown of his defense.. and a 2nd game to beat him after he runs away and hides behind a new wall.
There are a lot of players who try to sneak away pieces and think they're legit.. oh he's not watching that piece.. I'm going to sneakily take it from him.. but form no legit strategy or positional play, except to hope to steal the game. I watch over that now.. but it's hard in 1 minute to always be aware of every piece and players actually deliberating strategy that way is stupid.
It's also easy to go on tilt with a bunch of low lifes who like the same opening every game and try to checkmate u in 5 moves by either getting a knight or bishop guarded into your defense line, or a queen/ bishop check mate combo.. all of these are easy to guard for me now.. but a few months ago it made it agonizing to play.
Conclusively I want player's to play the way they are so I can play against their best game, no excuses. But that's just my opinion

I love the contradiction in the OP.
If you are winning but lose on time, the opponent is not allowed to legitimately feel like they won. Yet if they are up a piece, and you win on time, they're not allowed to feel aggrieved.
"cheapo capture that ruins your attack"
So its cheap because it ruined your attack?
I guess we should just let you play your wonderful attacks, and roll over.
This wasn't a well thought out essay.
I spent about 20 minutes typing this, so I don't expect all of it to be thoroughly analyzed.
You don't have the time to calculate every capture, that's the fun of bullet. Do longer time controls or stop whining.
Cheap attacks? Well if they work you apparently got a cheap defense.
I'm sure they won't care. It's half the game. Nakamura has a bullet book where he calls moves that win a queen a mistake because they take 5 seconds.
"respected" isn't the right word btw.
Chess is a very respected game.
More like widely accepted/ mainstream.
