I can recommend to play some correspondence chess on sites like gameknot, etc. They have calibrated their rating system in the old school way, were an average player always has around 1500 ELO.
I'm rated around 1600 there in that old club. Compare that to my 900 in this new rating system.
I also need help I'm failing at passing 200 ELO and I'm trying but I blunder my knight like every game in like 10 moves or less accidentally.
It has been a whole year, and you are still at 200 ELO lol
Well right, the question then becomes, A) Does this person want to improve and B) What are they doing to improve?
