We repeated the same moves 4 times at the end. Perpetual check. But instead of giving me a draw, my time ran out. What happened? I hate these 30 minute games with no incremental time. They should always add a few seconds so stuff like this doesn't happen.
Why didn't I draw by repetition?

Just like in OTB play. You have to claim the draw, its not automatic.
If you didnt press the draw button, the game continues.
