why do 1100 rated players think they can play?

I am aboutt 1100 rating. I know next to nothing about chess. yet, I play people who then want to tell me how I should have done this and shouldn't have done that...are these people delusional? if you know anything about the game you aren't rated at 1100 or there abouts!

I dont know, plenty of incredibly strong players on this site even at 3 digit elo who play with extremely high accuracy.
800 elo players with 30 and 20 centipawn loss games are fairly common. Anyone who can reach such accuracy does not just play "random" moves, so they could teach you something I guess.
You guys are also delusional, if you are 1100 you know nothing about chess...if you have studied chess and you can only achieve an 1100 rating it is time to take up something else!

Well I mean, if they beat you and they tell you "you should not have done that", they are probably correct since they beat you because you just "did that". xD
Stop hating on 1100s, the average rating on this site is rated around 950 so they are actually pretty good.

Ye but the op was saying that 1100s are people who just started chess (“if you know anything about the game you aren’t rated at 1100”) which is obviously not true
1100 is still a beginners' rating
I am an 110 rated player, I know nothing about chess. Nobody "wins" a game at this level, the other guys loses! It is like a 22 hcp player in golf trying to give another 22 hcp player swing advice, neither of them have any idea!
at 1100 level some people memorize tons of therory yet still know nothing about the opening they memorize so short answer no but they are sometimes correct(whats right at your level is not right for 2000)ex
(not all of them do this)
