same with me on real chessborad cannot think properly as the angle is different.
Why do I play chess on the board like a shoe and how can I stop?
cause online is pretty much a lie, many should focus more on OTB as thats what helps you improve since its more challenging and hard
I do play whenever I can with my siblings and mom but its once in a while...
Ikik this according to me is we're used to seeing the chess pieces 2d and it's easy to focus... bur when it's 3d u often slip chances

hmmm, possibly
it's because you're so used to the online board that when you look at a real one you start malfunctioning very badly

bruh
strange.
Does anyone know why this happens and how I can prevent it?
You are just not use to OTB play. Set up a board in front of your chess.com computer and make moves on that to get use to OTB play.(Just give yourself enough time to do that, like 30minutes)
It's allowed as long as you don't use it as an analysis board.

I haven't been to tournaments lately due to Covid-19 but recently I have been playing chess with my mom on my prized chess board. I have noticed that I make many blunders, miss many tactics etc. I'm 90% sure though that these mistakes would never happen online. Does anyone know why this happens and how I can prevent it?
