If you think it's polite to play two games, you are quite free to offer a rematch. But your opponent might have other things to do, or prefer to try a new opponent. That's life! I often play just one game, win or lose, black or white, it doesn't matter.

Yeah, I guess.
unless ur me and dont care about face, i have a rematch record of 21 to 17 or something, ofcourse we always play each other to warm up tho, othertimes i get salty about rating but its only if i mouseslip, once i got fools mated, i didint rematch, mega mouse slip
Care about face? Lol
If you think that is what you are doing. Just stay away from Las Vegas, with your personality you would lose all your money.
If I win and my opponent offers a rematch I usually accept. But if he beats me too easily (I tend to play people against higher scores) I feel there's no need for a rematch, I noticed that the other person knows the game better and did not win because of "luck". So I go try my luck with a new opponent
In ordinary conversation, people almost always say "care for a game of chess?" The almost never say "care for some games of chess?" So why would anybody think they have a right to a rematch?
honestly rematch is if they both liked it, so they dont want to move onto toxic people, so being rematch squabbling would make them not
