Why do people get chess.com to socialize?

You see, yisus craist gave you something between your legs for a purpose, you need to preserve the human race, you know, get to know chicks, date them, marry, have kids, live happily.

You said "go to a social media site for that". Every site where you can interact with people is a social site.

The reason chess.com was made was for chess, hence the purpose, name, and creation of it. I am yet to understand why people use it for socializing.
