Why do people resign when they have a winning postion. I have had people resign against me sometimes when I feel that my postion was losing?

In blitz games sometimes I resign for no good reason, if I just don't like the feel of the position, even if it's even.  I usually just use bullet/blitz to screw around when I'm bored though.

No in turn based games where you have many days per move.

if you are bipolar, shouldnt only half of you have depression or did i mix it up with something else.
