The reason that 1000 elos are looked down upon is because they are so weak and bad at chess compared to other players higher rated then them.
True for everyone.....not just 1000 elo.

The only thing you can do is get better at the game.
Yeah, we should just all get better at the game till we are GM-level. Sounds reasonable.
In all seriousness though, I think the forums need to be more beginner-friendly. It's one thing to recognize that some people are better than others, it's another thing to (in your words) "look down" on certain people for their skill level.
Think martin got a little better....tried many times to get him to let me scholars mate him, but to no avail.
By total chance, today I happened to play a 1000 rated kid at a casual chess club I go to... never would have guessed 1000, I thought he played well. I would have guessed a few 100 points higher.
OP should remember that IM's and above smirk at anyone below 2100 who talks about chess openings, positional concepts, or frankly, any area of chess, with any authority. IM's know these players are utter buffoons. So, next time you read some random player regurgitating a stockfish line ,or plagiarizing what some GM said, know that titled players are snickering at that poser's total bs. When smug elo 1900's are smirking at elo 1000's...IM's are snickering at the 1900's .

Sometimes lower rated players have given better advice, and so I read that, and learn from it to try to make my advice better for next time.
Sure it's rare that their advice is better due to accuracy (you know, recommending some move 15 in the sicilian). The advice is usually better because it addresses the specific needs of the person asking. For example "I worked the last 6 months to get over the hurdle you're stuck on, and what helped me the most was...." that's going to be more meaningful than if I gave generic advice.
Only a fool would smirk at the posts of everyone rated lower than themselves
also there are certain things that you don't have to be X level to know...let's say some 1400 rated player points out some cool missed 4-move tactic, would some 1900 rationally smirk at that?

I didn't cheat though, which is why they gave me another chance. Banned accounts can't be reverted. Also, how did you know that?

Sure thing, I'll believe whatever you say, beluga.
I’m 1000 almost 1100 and I’ve been going to tournaments I’ve qualified for the giga finals and
All I see was 300s 500s 700s and they were “ best players in the city
I didn't cheat though
Yes you did.
which is why they gave me another chance.
They give people another chance only if they admit to cheating and promise not to do it again... or you use a VPN etc.
Banned accounts can't be reverted
Incorrect. If a person is banned for cheating but they say they didn't cheat, and they win their appeal, then their account is restored with all its games and ratings etc still intact.

Nice, but I don't remember when I asked.

The reason that 1000 elos are looked down upon is because they are so weak and bad at chess compared to other players higher rated then them. Theres no point complaining about it. The only thing you can do is get better at the game. I am a 2300 however I still consider myself a beginner compared to GMs it really just depends how you look at the situation.
