Why do players Abort rather than resign?

Rather frustrating when players abort a game they’re about to lose rather than resign with honour. Happens to me a number of times. Anyone else? Doesn’t appear to be much you can do. Ok occasionally it’s down to the internet connection but not often.

Yup, happens. I got over the frustration. I enjoy the win and take the time to rest. Sometimes I block and report.
