So recapture with the Queen (instead of with the e-Pawn), answer Nc3 with Qa5, follow up with c7-c6, and play it like a Caro-Kann / Scandinavian hybrid.
If you don't like dry, balanced positions, then UNBALANCE the position.
... this isn't rocket science.
quit chess and go to fighting games, you have the satisfaction of crippling someone to death in 2 minutes or less (something you’re apparently begging for)

I was like that in the beginning. I think that the reason is that they don't know how to attack and just hope to simplify everything and ladder mate you in the endgame.

exactally the point
these types of dudes play Nf3 agianst the alekhine
they exchange agianst the slav/caro/qg/french
then they try to simplify everything into an endgame and if you even try to make imbalances and complications they will get even more forcing trades where its to the point that you either trade or worsen your position
like legit any opening you play they will find the most boring line to it

Having said that, I can’t remember the last time my opponent played a daring sacrifice against me.
“But,” you say, “he/she doesn’t really need to because you suck”.
Probably true, but in short games I have launched into counter-attacks that the computer says we’re good ideas.
Since my style is to charge into I’ll-timed attacks, I learn more from playing conservatively and counter-punching.
YMMV.

no just trading everything is not a good idea in middle or high levels
i guess thats a more valid way to play, personally i perfer to use a development advantage to attack or sacrifice a pawn for attacking compensation
but you see there are people who just hide in their turtle shell and hope you mess up

One other thing. Simon Williams, in one of his Dragadorf lessons, says, “If your opponent plays boring moves, you must PUNISH HIM for it.” As brutally as possible.

As I’m retired and recovering from surgery…
…I hate puffers. They’re lying and lazy. They rob you of your bait. If you use Zman level lures, they will bite through them and trash them. They’re not fun to catch. If you’re not careful, they will bite the tip of your finger off.
And in my area you can’t harvest them even to kill them. And if you eat one…it can get ugly fast.
So Puffer Dude (trying to sound like Doc Holiday)…?I hate him.
If you can’t handle rope-a-dope, stay out of the fight.

Tigran Petrosian almost quit because of negativity about the way he played. If I recall correctly it was Smyslov who talked him out of it. Petrosian went on to become world champion. Petrosian once said he could play the way people want him to and lose. It worked out very well for him, and if an opponent messed up he could launch an attack. He used the exchange sacrifice well too. Eventually he had a fan base.
