Why does everyone below 500 elo resign when they lose thier queen?

probably tilted and cant stop thinking clear because of the blunder.
Figures a likely loss, rather just resign than play 9 losing games to win one.
It’s a waste of their time since it’s a most likely loss to the person who blundered their queen.
I've seen 700s and 800s who resigned from losing a queen.
