I resign when I have clearly won to make my opponents happy. I don't mind losing. It means very little to me.
Why does it feel so bad to win?
People usually talk about how horrible it is to lose, often times they feel worthless, depressed. They feel like patzers. They are not humble enough to recognize losing is natural, and a good thing, it shows how humble you are.
Confused? Bare with me.
Everytime you lose, someone else wins, and everytime you win, someone else loses.
Losing is horrible, but once you realize your opponent is also a human, and he also lost a game, you start wondering what the meaning of life is.
Just as I realized this I felt bad, my heart stop beating, according to chess.com stats I had won 53 times, I had made people feel sad and depressed 53 times!
Im thinking on leaving chess or playing drawish openings whenever I can, I cant simply win, I feel bad after it.
Any tips? Chess is fun, but I dont want to make people lose nor play drawish openings.
Thanks.

It is spelled "bailar", not "bailal".
Are you talking about the reggaeton video?
Come on dud we all know he is making fun of the chakas.
If you feel bad when winning, may be it helps to consider that you saved your opponent from having such a feeling?

OH MY GOD, TRUE THAT. Another good point of view dud.
This is so complicated now.
The psychiatrist Viktor Frankl, who survived Auschwitz, was good at tackling bad situations. When a man lost his wife and found life meaningless, Frankl said: "By living longer than her you are saving her from missing you and feeling life to be meaningless."
(This gave me the idea)

Thanks to Williams for bumping this thread.
So, if winning feels so bad, because I made my opponent sad, but when I let him win, he will also feel bad for me.
