Why does it not let me abort anymore games?

When I look for a game, I always get a lower rated player, therefore, I don't want to play, so I abort. Eventually every single player I play is 200 points or more lower rated then me, so I abort those games as well, after I say, maybe 5 times of aborting, it doesn't let me abort anymore? What? I'm trying to improve my chess!

Aborting too much makes it so you can't abort. It is unfair to your opponents who have to go back out and create a new seek or spend more time looking for another opponent because you were unwilling to play them.

As the article above mentions, modify your rating ranges. Though, if everyone decided not to play lower rated players, almost no one would be able to play.

The "abort" button allows you to quit the game, which makes no sense. If you learn to play who you're paired up with, it makes things a lot better, for tournaments. You can't abort games in tournaments, and by playing chess, and letting the computer pair you up, you should accept and agree to play who they're paired up with.

i aborted like 4 times when i was trying to practice my openings with white and kept getting black which is admittedly probably what the systems were designed to stop but does anyone know if the abort button ever come back for me?

You can choose what side you want to play in an unrated game

Aborting shouldn't be punished. In the case someone is just avoiding black or white, then you simply make them wait longer to get paired and make sure it is the color they need to be paired as (example: 50 white, 49 black would mean they don't get white until they accept a game as black).

However, if I didn't mean to play a game, a phone call came up, baby crying, dog barking, intruder in the house (usually the wife), etc... then nothing was even accomplished in the game. We should be allowed to "pause" and then come back later to play a game.
