Why doesn't pawn e4 take f5 pawn once black puts it out ?
Thats the Jaenisch Gambit of the ruy lopez.
Taking the pawn on f5 would give black too much central control and black could regain the pawn after d5 quite easily.
At the end of the video the knight is shown to be trapped. What about g4 to support the knight?
