Why doesn't hikaru accept friend requests?

35000 friends are more than enough.
celebrities don't accept every single friend request, they would literally have to scroll through a list made up of hundreds of thousands of people to find their trusted, legitimate friends
a friends list is for people you trust and communicate with, it's pointless to just accept every single request especially if you're a celebrity
You're not worthy, basically.

When you load your own profile page, the avatars of all your friends are automatically loaded.
Maybe Hikaru doesn't want his own profile page to take an hour to load each time because of ten million people on his friend list?

All titled players have this thing where no nontitled players will be able to friend request them because they would probably get 1 million friend requests a day
Why doesn't hikaru accept friend requests? Also hikaru has 35,000 friends!! 😭 I really whant to friend him! I think he is the best chess player!
