Why i am suddenly so obsessed with chess?

Hi friends!

I know the rules of chess since childhood but never learned to play it properly. I also have the app chess.com for around a year, but this last week i habe really been fascinated by online content i have seen and the prospect of ever improving in this game. Right now i am on vacations around a nice city and whenever i spot a nice place to sit i stop to play a game and then analyze the errors. So addicting! Has anyone been through an intense desire to improve and play?  Am i having a maniac episode ahaha?

I've all of a sudden just all over it. And starting from basics.very challenging, but love chess.com for learning. Being able to go back and check moves is just brilliant
