What a stupid thread.

Thankfully not all chess fans are as tunnel-visioned as the OP.

I'd be willing to bet that most chess fans here support both Carlsen AND Anand (though picking one to cheer on for the championship match as that's what people like to do).

Carlsen deserved the plaudits at the time for winning the championship with some very impressive play.

But at the same time, people were impressed with Anands play in the candidates and as chess fans are pleased to see him back to some kind of form.

There is no dumping of Carlsen in favourite of Anand, just an acknowledgement of a well-played Candidates performance and looking forward to him giving Magnus more of a match this time round.
