Why is bullet so hard?

I've been playing bullet for 6 months and it seems pretty hard. Why?

I think it's impossible for most people to play intelligent bullet chess.

Nobody is obliged to play bullet. Just dońt play it.

250 bullet games in the period of 6 months ain't much. I feel like I played more just today since lunch...

Bullet is hatd as you have little time to think.

Don't give them nonsense mike_ox6942! Actually try to help them, or don't post at all. I would suggest switching to a longer time control, because bullet doesn't give you enough time to think, so you can't really improve much by doing it.

in hyperbullet (WORKS ALL THE TIME) play this:

(30-10 second hyperbullet)

Because people usually premove something and blunder

You're probably just too cerebral for bullet.

Give real chess a try...it relies on some thinking rather than muscle memory alone.

The thing is, even if you make an opening blunder, your opponent might premove out of it.

But you have to premove to not waste much time. If you are new to bullet, try a 2|1 increment.
