It's okay to smoke...if you are on fire
why is so bad to smoke for a chess player?

All those have nicotine as main ingredient. Yet some smokes cigarettes only, never cigar. Nicotine gums and patches have no 2nd hand smoke, yet most smokers shy away for unknown reasons. btw, im a nonsmoker but heavy caffeine consumer.

They all have nicotine but they still feel different. I was a smoker for 10 years. Nicotine isn't the only thing you feel when you smoke...this is evident when quitting with patches, gum, chew, snus, etc etc. Lots of the chemicals that result from the combustion of tobacco add to the overall effect. Not to mention that cigar smoke isn't inhaled, too dense and will kill you MUCH faster than cigarettes hehe.

It's easy to give up smoking. I have hundreds of times.
what you smokin today Kaydo? weed, jaggy nettles? dried banana skins?

Why does governments worldwide campaign strongly against smoking? Concern for citizens well being? No. Health care costs from smoking related illness > taxes from cigarette industry + sin taxes on cigarettes from consumers.

Smoking increases my thinking speed. Plus gives me a hard on. Especially playing with female players. No offence.

Not just chess players. It is now an offence, in the U.K., to smoke in a car that is carrying people under 18 years of age.
Tobacco is both adictive and harmful. Whenever I see anybody walking around with a cigarette in his mouth I always say to myself, "There goes a fool, he is costing taxpayers money because we have to pay his doctor bills with medicare and medicaide. I hope he catches lung cancer, or heart disease or high blood pressure, or stroke and dies."

Really? Do you always say it in those exact words or do you vary the wording each time?

What a nice person you are! Do you also do this whenever you see someone obese? That you hope they die soon? There can be myriad of reasons why someone is very expensive to the medical world and insurances. Kind of lame to use your selective reasoning against one of your pet peeves.
but what f you smoke really well ? instead of being dumb enough to inhale it into your lungs.
Then you get oral cancer.
