I must defer to my learned colleague, Mr T "I pity the foo".

'foo'? You mean like egg foo yung?

He didnt exactly enunciate.  The reason the jester gets to mock the king is that he is more intelligent.  You are not the jester here.

Oh. So we CAN blame women for war and famine. AWESOME!

The Queen has not always been such a strong piece and is the 'advisor' or 'general' in other cultures. There is no gender in chess!

New rule: every 9 turns a pawn will spawn from the queen. She'll has to rest a turn before she can move again.

Actually, the King is a real liability. I mean, such a pain to defend that he's almost useless - until the endgame when he either fights or dies. And I'm sure if it was his choice there ?....he'd be a scaredeekat and just take off.

No he's not the King is a fighting piece he's always a part of the struggle right from the beginning of a game he must be treated as a very strong piece for both attack and defence as Steinitz says.

If you study Steinitz's games you'll see how he skillfully used the King in the Middle Game and Opening not just the Endgame. Edmar Mednis wrote an entire book on the subject of using the King as a fighting piece:

Does this chess king remind you of most of the monarch's of yesteryear ? Ask yourself....if most of the today's kings (excluding the current Prince of Wales) had to face war whether on foot or over a horse ?....what would they do if they started to lose ?....probably run for their life, yes ? - to another country seeking shelter outta fear.

And most of these chess bookwriter's are just trying to make $ writing about a topic not yet written about.
