This game ended in draw because of insufficient material and draw, how is it possible? Can´t he just checkmate my king here? What's the rules?

A lone king can never checkmate on its own so the best result if your opponent runs out of time is a draw

But why was the game aborted saying insufficient material

So when a king is lonely its automatically draw? I don't know the exact rules here actually

It shows draw by timeout vs insufficient material

As long as the other player still has time on the clock, they can continue playing. However, in this case, your opponent ran out of time and can't win. You didn't have sufficient material to checkmate your opponent and can't win, so the best result you could get is a draw.

Black has enough material to checkmate your king but his time has run out. Usually that would mean a win for you, but as you only have your king on the board, you get a draw.

Basically, when someone's time runs out, their opponent gets the best possible result. In this case it is a draw, because white can't checkmate black.

Thank You all, I understand now, This is little tricky I have to say about the rules.
