Play chess ignore rating
Why is this game so mean to me

It definitely pays to have a good mouse. I used to play with a mouse that would have moments where it randomly froze until I clicked. Led to lots of stupid losses when it froze at the worst possible time.
On a more related note, though, your problem seems to be that you play way too fast. In a ten-minute game, generally speaking, you should not have over seven minutes left after twenty-five moves. The ability to see good responses to bad moves and avoid making obvious mistakes will not come to you at all if you play almost every move in less than fifteen seconds. (Indeed, in your last game, you only spent more than twenty seconds on one move, and nearly all of your other moves were done in less than five seconds.)
Try a longer time control and maybe play with an increment as well. And most importantly, think before you move. Playing every move like you're in a blitz game when you've actually got plenty of time is like blindly walking across the street instead of looking both ways first.

I don't even understand chess anymore. I try and try and I succeed only to be thrown back down. Why the hell are there players rated 850 yet they play as if they are 1500? I am always so confused on how they are able to see everything yet are not a higher rating. I had some success over the summer climbing nearly 400 points in one month, but now I have been stuck at the same 50 points with no end in sight. Why why why why why. I can't even explain how frustrated I am. It just feels like the chess gods are cruel. I miss click so much i am debating just getting a better mouse for chess. CHESS of all things. I know I'm just rambling at this point but I need an outlet for my rage and my walls can only have so many holes in them.
Your last 7 losses all have the same themes:
You move to fast.
You hang material.
You miss simple tactics.
You leave a lot of time on your clock.
You exchange a lot even when it doesn't benefit you.

The Elo rating is a mirror image of your overall level at chess.
Which includes, but not only, self dicipline, patience, lucidity, calculation abilities, memory, positional understanding and.... Well, how much work and efforts you throw in the endeavour of your improvement.
While I'm sorry to say so, and while I do understand some just want to play, I still must point out that growing from where ever to about 850 in 4 years shows a huge lack of work, training, learning, efforts, you name it.
So, my point of view upon your problem with chess, sir, is that you get what you deserve, where, for once, "deserving" is right the name for the thing.
Your brain, somehow, tricks you into believing, that out of time passed, you should be automatically better than that. No can be.
Well, I know many deny the title of sports to chess, but this is precisely where it shows it is actually a demanding sport.
Fell free not to agree with me, it matters not. And good chess to you.
