In this comment, you insinuate that if you practice, you become the greatest. If only it was that easy, and if you pay so much importance to practice, then why are you in the forums?
As for greatest, I think that one is between Lasker and Kasparov. But considering that Carlsen only is 28, he has time to compete with those two.

Greco is equivallent to a modern day FIDE Master or International Master according to a bunch of GM's....
Magnus Carlsen is probably the 7th best. In no particular order, I would place Kasparov, Karpov, Capablanca, Fischer, Tal and Botvinik above him. Your points are pretty stupid in that 6 years is nothing, Tal and Capablanca weren't defeated for over a decade. Karpov was a better positional player and his calculation is incredibly weak in comparison to: Kasparov, Capablanca and Fischer.
In addition he never wins. He may have never lost but it's draw after draw after draw. The world champion is supposed to stand out and Carlsen doesn't. All of the champions I mentioned barely drew and won games for streaks longer than 6 years until they were displaced.
First off Fisher is highly overrated. People were so happy to have someone other than a russian as champion that they elevated him to God status. Especially here in America. He was so afraid to face Karpov that he retired. You're assertion that Karpov and Kasparov never drew ignores the actual statistics. They played 184 world champion games against each other and drew 144 of them. Frankly comparing players of almost 100 years ago is a joke. They were essentially amateurs. Chess was a side gig for them. Carlsen is a professional chess player as is everyone he faces. I doubt if anyone Capablanca faced was above expert to national master by todays standards. Its like taking a talented self swordsman and putting him up against someone who was trained hours a day by grandmaster swordsman from age 6 using magical training techniques and who constantly faces people trained as hard as he was. Like boxing and baseball the legends of a century ago could not compete with modern athletes. Jack Dempsey was a great champion but he wouldn't last a round against any top 30 heavyweight from 2019. If you want to claim Jose had more talent well there is no way to prove or disprove that but it's ultimately irrelevant. Top players today are playing a game Capablanca wouldn't even recognize. If you brought him forward in a time machine and put him in the candidates tournament his score would be a perfect 0.
