@Jono_King   you can add it to the library, you just need to go to your user profile of your game history and add it there.

are you playing timed games?  blitz games?   if you go to your user profile  "stats" page and click the type of game (blitz, rapid  ,  etc)  do you see your game history there?   can you add to library from your stats page?

say you wanted to add a game history played under "rapid",  then click  stats> rapid  and it should bring up all your game history (win/loss) records.  then click on the game and the +library should be active.   can you replicate this?   see attached for a blitz game that i accessed through my "stats" page, and not under game review.

Yes this works but I'm talking about adding a game I played otb into a library in which then I would use an analysis board, play the moves out add some notes of analysis. I cannot then add this game to a library which is the problem.

@Jono_King work around is to use the analysis board to enter all the info moves... who what where... etc... the share the game and take the exported PGN go to the libary and add a game and paste that in.  Until they fix the analysis board add to library button.

Staff are aware that some members are experiencing the issue and there's a ticket in on it.

It has been about 2 weeks, and is there any update on this issue?

I have the same problem: I can't send my analysis to the library, the option appears disabled.

How does one accidentally  just ruin a button on a website it was working before!

It's not broken for everyone, so whatever is causing it is not easy to recreate.

You have to be ultra super diamond plus to be able to have that button.

seriously?

The problems is still unsolved after about 1 month, and I don't think it is super hard to reproduce since there are so many users are having the same problem.

I've got the same problem. I just won a game with 100% accurracy and can't save it in my library. Frustrating...

Is anyone having an issue saving played games (rapid, blitz, etc.) to the library? Or is it only an issue adding Analysis positions to the library? If it's an issue adding played games, then I believe that's a separate issue that I've never experienced.

However, I am also unable to add Analysis positions to the library using the "Add to Library" button. @ExpletiveDeleted617 outlined the process that I've been using to save my OTB games:

  • Enter the moves into an Analysis board
  • Copy the PGN
  • Go to the Library and create a collection (if none already exist)
  • Add a game to the collection
  • Paste the PGN and save the game

It's admittedly annoying to have to go through so many steps, but at least it works.

This works but I agree it is very annoying
