its may be not very known world wide, but chinese are good at maths, informatics, and ingeneering, so chess isnt that strange for a mind that is good at that subjects

Well known facts + The importance of living by Chinese Lin Yutang is one of my favorite philosophical books of all time. We can learn a lot from studying different cultures and game styles from all over the world.

yes, there is a lot, but the problem is the time, we dont have enough time for all; even for playing chess, we have limited energies also; and the older you get the closer you come to the limits, so we have to take decisions in relation to knowledge, work, joy, and rest in balance

I also like chess because no mutual language is needed for playing it. It's universal. It's beautifully simple and complex at the same time.

Chess is beautiful when you win without thinking XD ..... can be also a nightmare

Naturally can be both in the same game and I have been laughing a lot at recent opponents blunders... In a row one put their queen in front of my pawn to eat and immediately resigned after that... The next also blundered their queen but kept playing... I was able to rook/king fork next... I just kept eating the pieces until check mate and they didn't resign. Very funny!! 🤪

but there are sometimes games that are very dark to solve and look so eternal to finish, a living nightmare, and at the end a losing battle , and for those who say you can learn from losing; i say i prefer learn from winning XD and watching opponents fails; by the way there are some statistics that are very interesting; for example the percentage of winning with whites are normaly higher; but is rare having more than a 60% rate of win playing with whites. Another thing; the perfect game is a draw end game; which means none of both made a mistake; the game started in draw and ends in draw XD

I have usually those nightmare games packed on one day and humorous games on the next. I like a long successful endgame. Those are the best moments! I go see how many moves and go trough the games move by move in game review because I like to remember those moments well. The feeling of being able to use your hard learned tactics. The more moves the better. I'm most frustrated with timeout in rapid when it happens in the middle of endgame tactics. Even draws don't bother me that much.

I think I would like to try 30 min games too to achieve more than 100 moves games... I recently thought I had a very long successful endgame but in the end it was just 82 moves. Not over 100.

in my lichess statistics shows that i move way more, i think ten times more in bullet games than in turtles games

Is that the total amount of moves in all your bullet games? Because 960 moves doesn't make any sense otherwise 😁 I checked my recent bullet games here and there is way less moves/game than in blitz or rapid. Naturally it also depends on how fast your opponent moves. I don't have diamond membership here so I can't view the move specific stats. Only platinum. I have not played much at Lichess (yet) so I don't know all the specifics there.

I checked what google says about the subject: "considering the total time available, an average game might involve around 1 second per move, which could translate to approximately 60 moves for a 1-minute bullet game if the game reaches its maximum potential." So yeah it's pretty much 60 moves max if spent one second/move.

If u have played about 16 games with 1sec/move it sums up to 960 moves. Or it could be many more games if more seconds used/move. But I am certain it is not possible to do 960 moves in one bullet game. That's impossible.
Avatar of DareTower
Or u have discovered a time splitting black hole where u can play 960 move one minute games 🛸👽 Great discovery 💡 Congrats! 😂😂😂
Avatar of 1945victoria

yes, i really discovered i dont know what that 960 moves all about at all XD lets game

Probably because they have other priorities to handle rather than staring at a f***ing board game for hours upon hours on end analyzing a retarded amount of possibilities on how to play it when overall it has absolutely zero benefit for their family children or livelihood? 🤷🏽‍♂️. That’s just a guess?

are you saying China is better than everyone else because they don't like chess?

Brianchessdork….
Are you implying that I’m saying that? Are you going to start turning what I wrote into a political racism argument….or….if I may suggest, instead of twisting my opinion…you should address some of your own
