Why some nationnal federations dont award the NM title ?

as a moroccan i never saw a moroccan NM even if they reach 2200 nationnal elo

Some national federations may not officially recognise or award the NM title. They might prefer to focus on international titles (FM, IM, GM) or just national championships.
