why tf am i losing so many games now

Don't worry the losses will eventually stop and you will climb back up since you will probably face easier opponents further down.

Just play 2-3 games a day, that’s what I learned to do!
i am questioning whoever told you to do that
when someone is demotivated, playing more, and losing because of the bad mental state will only worsen it

Yeah, I've been on a losing streak of late too
I put it down to trying a new way of playing, a bit of random luck (there's always ups and downs), and being a bit tired lately.
It doesn't matter much. I'll play anyway and eventually I'll either plateau, bounce back, or reach the very bottom.

The same thing is happening to me.
Same. Last autumn I was competitive with players up to and slightly over 800, sometimes up to 840 or so.
Now, I am hopelessly outclassed and outplayed by players below 775. I can't even compete anymore. Something has changed, here.
I play better on other chess sites, so I don't play much here, anymore.
The younger generation are unstable in their rating. They can improve or decay by lot of rating points. When playing against improving players, they are underrated.

I was on a losing streak, I did a ton of puzzles on lichess to improve my game, and limit the number of games I play per day, now I'm not on a losing streak anymore and my tactics are way sharper.
In short: Do more puzzles!

@ehm42
I would say it could be a number of things: What time control do you play? Do you also look at what your opponent is trying to do? If you analyze your games, where do things fall apart; opening, middlegame, endgame, trades? Do you tend to fall for a tactic, or is there a particular situation where you can't seem to make progress?
why am i losing so many games my rating is tanking so hard rn
